Star Plus is all set to bring its audience another show titled Do Dil Mil Rahe Hain, featuring Bengali actors Srijla Guha and Sean Banerjee in lead roles. The new show aims at presenting a fresh concept and pairing to the audience. With shows like Anupama, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Teri Meri Doriyaann, Imlie, and Faltu ruling the TRP charts, the channel is now all set to explore the genre of romance further with this romantic drama revolving around childhood friends.
Recently, the makers dropped the promo of Do Dil Mil Rahe Hain and it is being narrated by the audience’s favourite and popular couple, Sai and Virat, aka Neil Bhatt and Ayesha Singh, who are fondly referred to as SaiRat, from Star Plus show Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.
As reported earlier, Do Dil Mil Rahe Hain is a tale about childhood friends Rishiraj and Priyadarshini, who are childhood sweethearts. An unexpected turn in their lives separates the two. Years pass by and Rishiraj becomes an arrogant industrialist, who refers to himself as Rishi Sen, whereas Priyadarshini is working as a tour guide and goes by the name of Pihu Mitra. The two, who were once sweethearts, cannot stand each other now. They share a past, nevertheless, that they are unaware of. It will be intriguing to watch the journey of childhood sweethearts and if they find the truth about each other’s real identity.
In the promo, Virat and Sai are seen introducing Rishi and Pihu as their friends, as they give a glimpse of their personality.
The show will premiere from June 12 onwards at 2pm from Monday to Sunday on Star Plus. The show was earlier released in Bengali as Mon Phagun and is available on Disney+Hotstar.
