These well-known TV stars are facing financial crisis amid the COVID-2019 outbreak


The deadly Coronavirus Pandemic has taken the entire world down with it. Every part of the world is affected by this virus and people are suffering a lot.

Not just commoners but also a lot of celebrities have come forward and shared their part of their story on how this lockdown has affected them. Being at home for a long time without work, some actors have gone bankrupt and they are urging people to help them out.

Here’s a list of 5 TV actors who have gone through a lot of bad times in the past few months.

1. Sonal Vengurlekar

Sonal who was last seen in the show Yeh Teri Galiyan has been facing financial crunch as she has not recevied her outstanding payment from a production house that she worked for. The actress was offered some help from her makeup man.

2. Ashiesh Roy

Ashiesh has been a prominent face of the TV industry and has worked with many well-known actors and shows. The actor also saw a worse situation in these times after getting admitted in ICU for health-related issues. The actor sought help from his industry pals on Facebook and actors like Jyotsna Chandola responded to his request.

3. Satish Kaul

Satish Kaul who is aged 73 is best remembered as Lord Indra from BR Chopra’s mythological show, Mahabharat is also going through a tough phase and the nation-wide lockdown has only made the situation worse for him.

He stated, “I’m staying in a small rented place in Ludhiana. I was staying in an old age home earlier but then I’m here at this place with my good samaritan Satya Devi. My health is ok, I’m doing fine but the lockdown has made matters worse. I’m struggling for medicines, groceries and basic needs. I appeal to the industry people to help me. I got so much love as an actor, I need some attention now as a human in need.”

4. Humari Bahu Silk cast

Well, here, it is a matter of the whole cast and crew of a show is facing financial hurdles as the producers have not paid their dues. Chahat Pandey revealed that the show went off-air last year in November and they have still not recevied their payments. The matter has become quite serious for the actress as well as the other crew members.

5. Manmeet Grewal

Manmeet Grewal worked on shows like Aadat Se Majboor and Kuldeepak. A few days back, the actor committed suicide after struggling with dwindling finances amid lockdown. He was just 32 and lived with his wife in Kharghar.

Manjit Singh Rajput, a friend of Manmeet said the actor was facing a financial crisis and wasn’t able to earn due to the lockdown.

This news sent chills to everyone in the TV industry and a lot of actors stood up for the other needy actors who were busy struggling for their payment.
