South actors Sai Ketan Rao and Shivangi Khedkar are playing the lead roles of Raghav and Pallavi on the show.
While Sai has become the heartthrob of the nation and fans are loving his swag as Raghav Rao, Shivangi as Pallavi is being loved for her stellar performance and delicate looks.

Sai and Shivangi have done total justice to their characters, which is why fans are in love with them.
Well, it wasn’t easy for Sai and Shivangi, as this was the first time they stepped into the Hindi TV industry and tried to create a place for themselves.
In an exclusive interview, Shivangi was asked if she felt any pressure while signing the show as she was completely new to the industry.
Shivangi said, ”I guess, yes, but honestly, these things are in your head. Because it’s not that easy to crack a role even in the TV industry. You go through series of auditions, mock shoots, look tests, etc. And I had proven myself so it was not low confidence … I believe was my excitement as it was my first time in the Hindi TV industry so I kept asking myself ‘Hey is this happening for real?’ But all that was in my head.”
She added, ”Sandip Sir and my casting director had full confidence in me. But when you get into something new, you definitely think about things like will people accept me or will I be able to grasp the speed with which TV shooting works? Will I be able to shape the character the way Sandip Sir had imagined? But what is life without trying or taking the risk? So trusting myself and the writers’ instincts, I jumped into it. And touch wood, people are liking it and have accepted me as Pallavi. And I get messages from the audience on social media and e-mails that they are loving the show. It still feels surreal.”
The series is based on Star Maa’s Telugu series Gorintaku. Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali is produced by SOL Productions and Sandiip Films.
