It is emotionally taxing to play the role of Sheryln in Kundali Bhagya: Ruhi Chaturvedi

Ruhi Chaturvedi plays the role of Sherlyn in Zee TV show Kundali Bhagya.

Ruhi plays the role which is dynamic and has layers of emotions which is not too easy to display on television but with the deft of talent that she has, Ruhi makes it look effortless. In an exclusive conversation with Ruhi, we got chatty about her role in the show and her personal interests!

Take a look:

You play Sheryln in the show. Does the constant planning and plotting affect you while performing your scene?

It does, because you are playing a negative character so doing it in a different variation is important, otherwise the audience will get bored , at times you have to be angry, at times cunning so it does take a lot of effort , and emotionally also it’s too taxing.

Does it happen that you end up carrying this baggage post pack up too?

At times the things really affect me, it is an emotional tour also but coming back to Sheryln I have not practically fully learned the trick of on and off but once I go back home family makes me feel comfortable.

What is the best part about Sheryln?

Everything! Because whatever I am is because of her, so everyone sees the bad part but not that whatever she does is out of love, she doesn’t realise the fact that she is making a fool out of herself running behind Prithvi and that she is ready to do anything. She has an emotional negative side as well where she comforts Rishabh , because he is a nice person but then she realise that he is the one who broke her and Prithvi’s marriage.

Speaking about your personal life what are your personal interests and hobbies?

I like baking , which I just learned, I like reading books which doesn’t happen to often because the work schedule is really tough.

If not an actor what profession would you choose?

I don’t think anything, because since I was born I wanted to be an actor. Because Madhuri Dixit used to stay in my building so I followed her footsteps and while growing up I never thought about medical or engineering.
